Are Unions Necessary? (1954 inscribed first edition in dj)

San Francisco: Irving and Myrtle Auerbach, 1954. First Printing. Hardcover. Cloth in dust jacket, very good, light wear. Inscribed, "To my very dear friend Leo George, one of America's most capable and aggressive workers for wage-earners -- Good luck, Irving Auerbach." Auerbach was a motion picture writer and producer, member of local union 659 L.A.T.S.E & M.P.M.O. The book is as much a memoir of working conditions and life in the motion picture industry as it is a pro union screed. 228 pp. For whatever reason, there is no citation for him in IMDB. Very good / very good. Item #H39453

Price: $30.00
