Attributed to Frederick William Beasley (the introduction is signed by a Caspar Almore); a mix of stories and poems. Beasley (1808-1878) was ordained in the Protestant Episcopal Church in 1832 and served as rector of the All Saints' Church in Lower Dublin, PA for most of his life, was a published poet. Some of the stories, such as "The Indian Dream-Cell" and poems such as "The Ghost at Ford's Inn" -- have a fantastic element to them. Very Good. Item #H6866
