Oblong folio, olive buckram, titled "News Events 1940-42, Part Two" on spine, really large photos, much larger than your regular news service 8x10s, measuring 13.5 x 11 inches, on resin coated paper, binding shows some wear, and half a dozen photos have some wear to them -- abrasions, etc. -- but the vast majority are in very good or better condition, with usual age toning, striking photos of the war as well as domestic photos of events back home. RARE: OCLC records the Cincinnati Public Library as having "boxes" of photos from this company, 1939-1945 (425 photos) and that's it. Some very dramatic photos, hardly any that can be considered art, and stitch-bound along left margin (we briefly considered selling this photo by photo and then dispensed with that idea as too time consuming).
