Hardcover. Large dark red leatherette binder housing 54 8x10 photos, often accompanied by the original negative, marked INVESTIGATION on title sheet, from the Pittsburgh law firm McArdle, Harrington, Feeney & McLaughlin seemingly detailing safety hazards of mainly PA Railroad cars, including a few interior shots and some of the train yards, showing closeup shots of rust, corrosion, cracks, warping and other issues. McArdle, Harrington, Feeney & McLaughlin was a well known firm that often was employed by plaintiffs against railroad companies in cases involving personal injury. This may be one of the firm's exhibits used in the case Mignona vs. PA Railroad from 1964, but there are several other possibilities -- all late '50s and early '60s. Some of the photos have an unintended haunting quality to them. Good. Item #H8228

Price: $300.00
