Large Prang Christmas card, 1883

Measures 7 x 7.25 inches, very good, front side reads "I wish you a Christmas bright / With Love and Flowers." Verso more plain with olive border, butterflies and flower filled vase. Small Christmas inscription on verso and three small circles where this was probably affixed in an album. Says c. 1883 by Prang, who started selling Xmas cards in the states in the mid 1870s, and is known as the Father of the American Christmas Card. Very Good. Item #H8301
