Large 8vo, original dark blue cloth, very good, 360 pp, previous owner has heavily annotated the few pages of Pennsylvania Alpha-Upsilon members in mainly pencil, and some additional notations about Pennsylvania membership on one of the last blank pages. Rare on the market and in institutions (OCLC locates 3 original copies and 16 'computer files' that may or may not be hard copies). The fraternity was founded at VMI in 1865 to promote Christian brotherly love between Northerners and Southerners attending the school in the wake of the Civil War.
