Cabinet photo measures 5.5 x 4 inches, mounted on thick stock with some wear to corners and edges. Hodge rose from being an iron puddler to become president of the British Steel Smelters Mill Union and of the Iron and Steel Trades Federation, and was MP with the Labour Party who became the first Minister of Labor.
