Miniature paperback book (telling the same story; presumably a doll's copy?) is present in pocket at rear. Minor spots of discoloration to top edge of front and rear panels, Faint soiling to rear panel. Dust jacket housed in archival dust jacket protector. This author-illustrator married couple are the same duo who brought The Happy Lion to delighted audiences. A Doll for Marie tells the story of a lonely girl and a lonely doll who find each other.
