Wraps. 10.5 x 8 inches, softcover, fair, light soil and wear to covers, moderate dampstain to lower outer corner of rear cover and decreasingly so to the last 8 leaves of the text, but also some dampstaining to lower inner corner, which caused not only staining but for several of the pages to be stuck together and which some previous owner has opened roughly, living tears, abrasions, loss and damage. About 50 pp, illustrated, handsome printing. A promotional book on the Mercantile College in downtown Pittsburgh celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 1890, with a description of the books one needs and the courses one would take, plus information on prospective students as far as housing, tuition, course requirements, with a description of some of the courses which included business forms, bookkeeping, penmanship, correspondence, Mercantile, law, business, and economics, plus a description of some of the faculty, testimonials, etc. fair.
