Scholarly edition of late Qing official Xiliang’s memorials and papers, part of the series Zhongguo jindai shi ziliao congshu, original printed wrappers, moderate toning, text clean, sound. Xiliang (1853–1917) was a documented official of the late Qing dynasty, known from standard historical records and reference works. He served in a number of provincial administrative posts, most notably as governor of Xinjiang, a position that places him within the group of senior officials responsible for frontier governance in the final decades of the Qing. Collections of his writings, such as the Xiliang yigao (collected manuscripts), consist primarily of official memorials and administrative papers, and are used by historians as primary-source material for studying late Qing administration and regional policy.
