Inscribed by author to Frank C. Jordan: Fox was the first director of the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, the first planetarium in the western hemisphere; Jordan was director of the Allegheny Observatory and professor of astronomy at the University of Pittsburgh. Hale was a well known astronomy and expert on sunspots, also facilitating the construction of telescopes at Yerkes and elsewhere. Very good. Item #h45545
