1970s homemade book on marbling paper with dozens of samples

Hardcover. 9 x 6 inches, cloth-backed stiff card covers, very good. The verso of the front cover contains 35 samples of marbled paper, plus 4 leaves of typewritten text, plus a bound-in copy of Sydney Cockerell's Marbling Paper (16 pp,undated, possibly 1930s-40s, with samples tipped ), plus Dryad leaflets on "Three Methods of Marbling," "Combed Pattern Papers," "Gold and Colour Tooling," and "The Decoration of Book Edges." Laid in is a separate homemade booklet, "Floated Colors," with 11 full page samples (some spottiness and stains to covers). A unique book, probably from the 1970s. Very good. Item #h45702
