I's limitation page has "Author's Copy" handwritten with three initials (not sure what the initials are, but they might be JPE for John Philip Edmond). Quartos, hardcovers, 530 total pp., illustrated, clean unmarked text, Good ex-library copies with minor treatments (bookplates on the front pastedowns, a few small stamps), vol. I seems to be lacking the front flyleaf, age-toning or discoloration to some of the pages, wear to the tips and edges of the covers, uncut pages, no dust jackets or slipcases. A rare set. Good.
