Series of 4 color tinted postcards titled "The Irish Immigrant", featuring a sentimental poem and scenes of an Irishman contemplating and ultimately leaving Ireland after the death of his wife for America- where "They say there's bread and work for all, and the sun shines always there" (Good luck with that mate). Postmarked 1911, to a woman in Cleveland, Ohio, all filled out. Each card 6 by 4 inches. Very good. Light edge wear, else clean and unmarked. Very Good. Item #z013098
