Lot of 23 programs, playbills, magazines and articles from the golden age of dance, ca. 1930s-1940s, primarily featuring renowned dances Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, and Katherine Dunham. Includes programs from the Ballet Russe, the Martha Graham Company, and the Bennington School, as well as the November 1950 issue of the Atlantic with the Martha Graham feature and the Perry-Mansfield "Correctives in Dance Form". All items in VG or better condition with mild edgwear, with the exception of one Martha Graham program that is more worn than the rest. Generally clean and unmarked. A great lot of memorabilia for the dance collector, from the collection of Frances Balter, who studied with Martha Graham and Bennington and danced in her company. Very Good. Item #z05279
