Generally very good with modern cloth spines, original marbled paper backed boards with light rubbing wear and bumping to corners, slight chewing to upper edge of front board. Gilt leather spine labels also with some rubbing. Gift inscription in each volume on the fron flyleaf and blank, respectively. Tidemarking to pictorial cover page, occasional darkening to plates.
