Garrison concerning the binding: "Dear Sir, So far as I can find, the half-binding of my Gulliver is also in horsehide. Of the two, I prefer it to the full binding, more curious than elegant in my eye. Very truly yours, [signed]." Engraving of a horse head on the title page. A very good copy with light bumping to corners, light rubbing to spine and light soil. Housed in mylar wrapper. Contents are bright, clean and unmarked. A satire on Calvinism. Very Good. Item #z06172
