Greensburg, PA: 1938. Paperback. Seven 8x 10 photographs of the scene of a deadly automobile accident on November 20th, 1938 at 3:20 am. The accident happened on Rt. 30, 3 miles East of Greensburg, PA. Joseph Seeno (Aged 24) and Dorothy Henninger (23) were killed in the crash, and two others were injured. The photographs show the mangled vehicles, the skid marks on the road shoulder, and the splintered telephone line that the vehicle crashed into. A subtle splatter of blood is present on the road in one photo, the only indication of life lost (Alas, the watchful eyes of T.J. Eckleburg were not present to witness this tragedy.)
